I thought that you were supposed to have a ton of energy during the 2nd trimester....I am exhausted. Every night I feel like I have done more than any typical person should have to do in the course of a day, and yet, when I think of everything I did...it's really not that much. At least not enough to explain the fatigue. The other night I went to bed with Beckett at 8:30.
Have you ever noticed that doing anything with a 19 month old takes at least twice as long and uses twice as much energy. After (a LONG day) work Beckett and I went to Hobby Lobby and Sally's, to exchange a few things. At first it was wonderful, Beckett just sat in the cart and put the items I handed him into the back. It didn't take him very long to realize that I didn't buckle him in, and it's as if I had given him an open invitation to stand up. Once he gets it in his head that he can get up, that is all he wants to do. So I spent a good portion of the trip picking him up and trying to get him to stay with me, as he whined and arched his back until I put him down. Then he kept picking things up and at Sally's he kept trying to put chap stick in his pocket, well I thought he was "trying"; turns out Beckett is a seasoned kleptomaniac at the ripe old age of 19 months, he already had 4 tubes of chap stick in his pocket. I felt as if I needed a dislaimer as I stood there emptying my sons pockets. Finally it was time to go and Beckett thought it would be hilarious to run a way from me, laughing hysterically. It's times like that that I love being a mom. I don't think that that seen would have been quite as cute for anybody else in the world. I love wathching Beckett experience "JOY" and "GLEE".
Alright, this blogging thing has taken everything I had left. I am going to bed. Good Night.

I totally hear ya' and feel your pain!!! Except for the pregnancy part! Tee hee! I think the more-energy-in-2nd-trimester only applies if you don't already have children. :)
Laura's probably right! You might've had more energy, but chasing toddlers around takes more out of you than you realize!
