You want some of me....

AAHHH! Welcome to the month of November. It has been one of the most beautiful weekends in November that I have ever lived through. But regardless of how beautiful and serene the weather was I was hurled back into reality. The reality that I have a 20 month old little BOY. A little boy who likes to do odd, dangerous, little boy things that in fact little boys should not be doing. Jumping off things that were not meant to be jumped on or off of, running around places where he shouldn't be running, chasing a tail that does not exist...Saturday Scott and Beckett were having some male bonding time and apparently Beckett was going crazy, jumping off of a curb (repeatedly) and he didn't have time to recover his balance before falling. He fell at the perfect angle to cut his little eyelid on the concrete/marble that was close by. He had a tiny scratch on his eyelid and it kept bleeding down into the corner of his eye, so I, like any good mother kept wiping it up. You would have thought that I was gouging his eye out because he kept screaming, I didn't understand because I wasn't even touching his "owie". As you can see from the pictures there was more to his "owie" then what was originally detected. I felt so bad when I realized that he had a little brush burn on the side of his face where I was trying to wipe away his blood. I am sure it was torture. Good news though, he is not holding any grudges, I don't think......

Ouch! Little boys can always seem to create trouble when you don't even think it exists!

Oh my gosh - already a big boy bed. What I think is funny is that I slept in a crib until I was 4 years old!!!! I remember the neighbor next door used to make fun of me and my mom finally got the hint that maybe she should ditch the bed with bars :)
